BestNest Management is representing a Hospital located in West Des Moines, Iowa and is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner/ Certified Nurse Midwife to join the team.

Full Time/Permanent Placement

Job Start Date:1/22/2018


To provide primary health care services including general and preventive medical care. Management of ambulatory based pregnancy, childbirth and gynecological care. Provides professional care for patients with obstetric and gynecologic needs and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs well newborn exams within scope of training and performs a variety of tasks and works in conjunction with a practicing provider.


Masters degree in Nursing.
Certification by the American Nurses’ Association as a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife.
Certified Nurse Midwife Degree required.
Current Colorado medical license required.
Current DEA certification.
Minimum Three (3) years in a family practice with OB/GYN required.
